As a Starbucks senior manager, product, Portfolio Management & Analytics, you will

Help us shape our U.S. Licensed Stores food portfolio. What do we sell, to whom, and how much? Our team sits at the heart of our business, and you will lend a hand in answering all these questions. You'll have the opportunity to build strategies for our future while also running point on key operational decisions, learning what it takes to manage a business serving millions of customers tangible products every day.

Here's what our team does and how your role will play a part:

Our Team's Mission - we deliver strategic recommendations rooted in business, customer, licensee, and partner intelligence that drive sustained growth in product portfolio sales and margin for both Starbucks and or licensed partners.

We shape the makeup of our food portfolio, setting the direction for new products coming in and recommending products to exit

  • You lead analyses of our products' performance, including new launches and LTOs. You will have access to our sales and customer data to ascertain how our products resonate with customers, and whether they benefit our business and our licensed partners.
  • When it comes time to launch a new product, you determine the parameters it should fall within.
  • Identify new data-based opportunities to grow our portfolio.

We lead multimillion-dollar supply investment decisions to support sales of our most critical products

  • You will recommend how much product we should buy to support sales of some of our most visible products - everything from our venerable Holiday LTOs to innovative new offerings. This involves forecasting sales for these products and balancing inventory risk with profit upside.

We make day-to-day operational decisions to get our products into customers' hands

  • You will serve as the liaison between our product team and the supply/demand planning team to resolve real issues that impact our stores, like prioritizing products to ship when we have ingredient shortages.

We craft the narrative of our business performance

  • You will guide business reporting for our U.S. licensed business, influencing how our executive leadership interprets the numbers
  • Create structured presentations that leverage insights to tell a compelling story with impactful recommendations
  • Be a mentor to junior partners

We'd love to hear from people with:

  • Highly collaborative approach and strong leadership of cross-functional partners required.
  • Keen critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to simplify and structure complex and ambiguous problems.
  • Experience developing and delivering impactful presentations to executive level audiences.
  • Financial and quantitative modeling experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or quantitative field.
  • 8 or more years of experience in a role supporting marketing, brand management or product management.
  • 8 or more years of experience in a role leading the development of new or existing products or strategies from conception to implementation.
