About the Department
The Cardiometabolic Marketing Team leads the US marketing efforts for Novo Nordisk's robust cardiometabolic product portfolio, which includes world class therapies for the treatment of diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and other serious chronic diseases. As part of the team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of our portfolio vision, business strategies, and tactical plans that drive our business forward. You will help to drive the NNI portfolio and Brand strategies to ensure the products reach the people who need them most.
The Position
As an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) UX Architect, your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver exceptional user experiences for AEM-based applications and websites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that the AEM platform provides a seamless user experience for customers.
Relationships
Reports to the Associate Director of Content Management Provides direct support to the Digital Marketing team, HCP/Patient Brand Leads, and Sales. The position interacts with multiple NNI internal functions such as Brand Managers, Omnichannel teams, IT, Regulatory and Commercial Insights & Analytic, as well as external operational vendors and agencies.
Essential Functions
Investigate user experience design requirements for our of digital assetsDevelop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the companyTest UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assetsCollaborate with the marketing team and designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital userProvide advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behaviorAdvocating the benefits of accessible design and usability with clients and team membersGiving insightful and constructive feedback on the designs, including interactions, information architecture, content, and alignment with business goals and user needsPerforming competitive assessments and providing innovative alternatives, as well as researching and understanding design and technology trendsCreate and maintain design documentation, including design specifications and guidelinesProvide support throughout design, coding/dev and deployment processReviewing and implementing browser and device support criteria across digital contentAudit and evaluate existing content and functionalityEstablish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and guidelines for UX developmentCollaborate with backend architects to ensure smooth integration between front-endPhysical Requirements
10-20% overnight travel required.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in UX design, information architecture, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceAt least 6-8 years of proven experience as a UX architect, UX designer, or a similar role, working on digital products and platformsAdvanced knowledge of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)Strong understanding of Token Libraries (Figma)Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptA strong portfolio of UX projects, demonstrating your skills and process in UX architecture and designProficiency in UX tools, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similarExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise mannerA keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and user satisfactionA passion for solving problems and creating user-centric solutionsRequires self-starter, highly organized, efficient, and capable of leading large meetings and driving them towards a common goalAbility to evaluate key business and product metrics to determine specific actions or service feature additions that would favorably impact key metricsStrong project management, problem solving and analytical thinking skillsRequires knowledge of digital strategy delivery and data technologiesDesired candidate has knowledge of standard and emerging technologies, platforms, support systems, processes, architectures, process flows, integrated dependencies, etc.Proven ability to interface with people from various departments, positions and knowledge levelsWe commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
