Description:

Develop and Implement strategies that support The Yale Club's member recruitment and retention goals. Work closely with other departments within the organization to ensure that membership recruitment and retention strategies are aligned with the organization's goals. There are no direct reports, however, this position is second in command of the membership and marketing department in the NYC office. Therefore, will manage the department in the absence of the Director of Membership and Marketing.

Requirements:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive membership marketing strategies including email and digital effort
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate marketing initiatives across channels.

Membership Acquisition and Retention:

  • Lead the development and execution of campaigns to attract new members and retain existing ones.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Implement targeted marketing programs to engage members throughout their lifecycles.

Brand and Messaging:

  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all membership marketing materials and communications.
  • Develop compelling and effective content to communicate the value of membership to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to align marketing messages with overall brand strategy.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Regularly analyze and report on the performance of campaigns, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Use data to make informed decisions and adjustments to optimize marketing strategies.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the annual membership marketing budget for specific areas of marketing.
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies, communications, programs, and initiatives.
  • Experience in membership-based organizations preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
