Position Description:

Aligns the work performed by the squad through ongoing planning and prioritization. Delivers valuable insights via data analytics to solve complex business problems and performs gap analysis on present applications and systems. Serves as a liaison between business and engineering teams in the development of new tools and the upgrade of existing tools as per market trends and standards. Translates business requirements into technical requirements to support the development and enhancement of the business capabilities. Analyzes requirements and proposes innovative implementation approaches. Partners with other leaders to influence the broader strategic decisions and roadmaps, defines the resource requirements, and executes specific product features.

Primary Responsibilities:

Defines goals and creates roadmaps for development projects.

Oversees development projects and guides the team through product development processes.

Creates product roadmaps with strategic visual summaries and works with Portfolio Managers, Quantitative Analysts, and Traders to meet goals.

Guides teammates on effective data strategy.

Gathers requirements from Traders and Portfolio Managers to build new tools or upgrade existing tools as per market trends and standards.

Leads analysis initiatives of requirements and proposes implementation approaches for business solutions.

Drives User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for continuous feedback of built products.

Manages product backlog based on technical strategy and business objectives.

Performs gap analysis on present application and systems to propose and create product roadmaps.

Manages end-to-end project delivery in line with business cases with defined accountability and constraints.

Collaborates with other product and technology teams for internal dependency resolutions.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, IT Product Management (or closely related occupation) performing Information Technology (IT) product management in an asset management Fixed Income (FI) domain.

Or, alternatively, Master s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, IT Product Management (or closely related occupation) performing Information Technology (IT) product management in an Asset Management Fixed Income (FI) domain.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise ( DE ) conveying goals and specifications of investment IT projects to teams and stakeholders to adhere to business requirements within specified time constraints.

DE guiding Asset Management FI data teams to obtain strategic solutions for data and FI batch cycle enhancements and advance business objectives using Oracle PL/SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.

DE guiding a FI engineering team to obtain strategic solutions for enhancements in building tools for Traders, Quantitative Analysts, and Portfolio Managers used to create advance business objectives using Oracle PL/SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.

DE partnering with Data Services and Cross Domain Product Area Leads to influence broader strategic decisions and roadmaps, define resource requirements, set missions, execute specific product features, and participate in ongoing planning and prioritization of projects on-boarding new vendors (ICE and eMBS) for developing tools used by Asset Management business functions.
