Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they're well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager leads the Maintenance Programs Engineering team, responsible for development and management of compliant and effective policy and procedures for the scheduled maintenance program requirements, packaging, and documentation. Leads strategy for continuous optimization and analysis of the scheduled maintenance program resulting in annual realization of multi-million-dollar cost savings initiatives. Responsible for professional development of a large team consisting of multiple direct reports and an overall team of approximately 50 aviation professionals spread across multiple domestic and international facilities. Responsible for important industry level engagement to drive company initiatives and collaboration between the company and OEMs and industry organizations.

  • Development of policies and procedures that provide oversight and direction to Maintenance Program Engineers and Technical Writers

  • Collaborate with internal partners ensuring effectiveness and benefits of the maintenance program is realized

  • Engage with industry contacts to form beneficial relationships for the department and company

  • Focus on professional growth and development of team members

NOTE: This position is based at the CSC-Willis Tower, located in Chicago, IL. and considered as a hybrid work-schedule working on a 3-days in office schedule, however, that may evolve with the needs of the company.

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience

  • Aviation related field or equivalent work experience in aviation industry

  • 5 years of demonstrated ability leading the development and management of an airline maintenance program

  • Proven organization and leadership skills with ability to build, lead and maintain strong, productive teams and working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers

  • Must be willing and able to travel 30% of the time domestic and international

  • Must be willing and able to work a hybrid schedule, in-office at least 3 days a week at the CSC-Willis Tower in Chicago, IL

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
