As a Senior Manager, Quality Assurance - Foods, you'll serve as an advocate for our customers and will see the products you work on come to life in stores and online. You'll work closely with product developers, Private Brands & global sourcing associates, safety & compliance managers, merchants, and leadership to ensure our Private Brands items consistently offer great quality and value to our customers. As a trusted quality expert with solid technical credentials, you'll help guide the team to take the appropriate actions and build capabilities. Along the way, you'll be guided by our deep-rooted culture with the support and tools you need to do your best work.You'll sweep us off our feet if:You are adept at working with a large supplier base across a broad range of categories and internal stakeholders.You have a passion for delivering outstanding quality items for our customers and ensuring products are well-designed to deliver on customer expectations.You are a strong influencer and problem solver who enjoys working with cross functional partners and internal clients.You are data savvy and a strong communicator: you can analyze performance, identify trends and critical differences, and create actions plans that deliver results.You are tenacious, dedicated, agile, and a self-starter: you can adapt approach to ever-changing business requirements and will do whatever's needed to finish on schedule while still ensuring sufficient quality standards are maintained.You'll make an impact by:Developing customer-winning products: you'll assure quality during development supporting areas from supplier approval & specification development through product qualification & production approval.Assuring in-market product quality: you'll closely assess the quality of our Private Brand items across multiple metrics, reporting results & identifying areas of opportunity, and driving successful correction fluencing decisions: you'll leverage your knowledge and expertise and will regularly collaborate with product developers, merchants, and suppliers to answer key business questions and respond to issues.Building relationships: you'll work closely with 3rd party labs and other cross-functional partners to refine our quality monitoring programs and ensure optimal execution.Knowing your categories: You'll provide valued subject matter expertise on quality requirements, technical solutions, and resources for the categories you support and are always thinking about ways to improve.Preferred QualificationsMaster's or Doctoral degree in engineering, science, or similar technical field.8+ years' experience in food quality assurance, product development, manufacturing, or related area.Knowledge of both USDA and FDA requirements.Relevant professional certifications (e.g. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor, Six Sigma, or similar) relevant to the Quality Assurance field.Expertise in Statistical Analyses or Data Visualization.Benefits & Perks:Beyond competitive pay, you can receive incentive awards for your performance.
