Job Summary:

The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive machine service to ensure continuous operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains all process related equipment and installs new process related equipment.

• Performs and communicates scheduled equipment preventive maintenance.

• Provides emergency/unscheduled troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment.

• Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.

• Reads and interprets equipment manuals, schematics, blueprints, cut sheets, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

• Completes work orders in a safe and timely manner. Utilizes CMMS as applicable.

• Comply with OSHA safety and health rules. Utilizes and complies with LOTO policy.

• Completes work using power tools and shop tools.

• Maintains and exhibits good housekeeping practices.

• Documents all cGMP work in applicable logs.

• Instruct and lead mechanics on-shift to ensure quality of work is met and best practices are followed.

• Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by management.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience of related equipment maintenance.

• Experience using CMMS systems to track and trend maintenance activities and data.

• Technical training; exposure to high-speed equipment.

• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude to work with various tools and machinery.

• Good mathematical skills for measuring, fabricating, and formulating.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Ability to learn and demonstrate cGMP and Safety programs.


Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 55 lbs.

• Climb ladders and/or stairs

• Crawl, bend, twist, carry, reach, and kneel throughout shift

• Push and/or pull up to 100 lbs.

• Stand and/or walk for extended periods

• Work with and/or around chemicals and/or hazardous materials

• Repeating motion that may include arms, wrists, hands, and fingers

• Ability to see and distinguish color

• Work in seasonal conditions that may include extreme hot, cold, wind, and precipitation

Work Hours:

• Non-Exempt Position; Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm; Occasional off-shift work

• Minimum of 40-45 Hours Week, or other agreed upon documented schedule

• Ability and willingness to work from all BioSpectra facilities
