Title: Senior Logistics Manager

Location: Doral, FL

Duration: Direct Hire

Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

Responsibilities:

To profile and identify customer base and keep proper records updated. This includes account profiles, customer files, and manuals.

Train the sales team to meet company's service and regulatory compliance requirements. Maintain training materials and training records to support divisional training.

Responsible for writing and maintaining division and account SOP.

Keep management properly informed of any issues concerning the area of responsibility cited.

Provide any necessary support as directed by management.

Exercise supervision over employees in the department.

Troubleshoot and support team to resolve issues and errors.

Manage and update open PO report and provide estimated delivery dates, advise customers of delays.

Execute weekly allocation schedule for all customers.

Analyze PO, RTF, allocation, status of sales.

Evaluate air/ocean/truck carriers, transit times and monitor performance.

Work closely with our broker to immediately attend customs issues or concerns.

Ensure import compliance of inbound shipment.

Manage all aspects of company 3PL warehouse facilities.

Conduct regular bidding, RFQ, RFP, contract with current / new 3PL vendors.

Lead weekly business calls and monthly business review meetings with 3PL teams to view inbound and outbound orders, promptly communicate sales team needs, review KPIs, and execute allocation schedule.

Drive operational excellence via KPI Management and Dashboard reporting to ensure efficient and timely supply chain accuracy of receiving, storage, allocation, and distribution to meet business demands.

Develop KPIs to evaluate cost/performance of 3PLs across the distribution network.

Schedule visits to 3PL facilities as directed.

Manage forwarder and transportation carrier strategic relationships.

Prepare cargo insurance annual renewal and negotiate.

Follow up with reports and backup documents for questionnaires from HQ, RHQ, accountant auditors.

Must Have Skills:

Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines, be detailed-oriented.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, agents and fellow employees

Ability to think logically and follow procedures and instructions

Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Excellent leadership, influencing, organization, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills

Strong time-management and organization skills

MS Excel and Powerpoint , SAP skills

Required: Bachelor's Degree
