Senior IT Coordinator (Onsite)

Our client, a non-profit organization focused on delivering excellent, equitable education to underserved children, their families, and their communities, is currently seeking an onsite Senior IT Coordinator for their Portland, OR location. Core Position Responsibilities for Senior IT Coordinator:
Support Sr. IT Manager and overall functions relating programmatic areas within the organization including Training Academy, Learning Academy, Early Learning Academy, Development and Community Relations, etc.
Support function implementation and operation of ALL current and future technological systems, including hardware, software (i.e. CRMs and internal information management systems).
Keeping applications up-to-date, safe, and compliant.
Liaison between the organization and third-party technology vendors.

User Support:
First point of contact for internal help desk support.
Create and maintain thorough, equitable, and accurate support ticket notes.
Create and maintain IT knowledge base for future utilization in trouble shooting.
Work with the Manager to improve support, including turnaround time and expectations of technology support within the organization.
Coordinate and manage user access to platforms including account creation, changes, and deletion.
Serve as administrator and create user accounts for all cloud-based platforms, internal databases, equipment, and analytics.
Maintain inventory records for all technology.
Provide reports and statistical information related to helpdesk and technology use from various technology platforms.

Peripherals:
Coordinate and provide set up of all technology and audio visual (A/V) equipment for facility needs, including events / activities (special and annual).
Coordinate the drop off and pickup of devices to repair vendors and the distribution of loaner devices.
Accurately assemble computers and peripherals from components for business and classroom environments.
Provide logistical support for devices and equipment including peripherals to ensure setup, distribution, placement, and replacement needs are met.
Create and maintain IT knowledge base for future utilization in trouble shooting.
Audio & Visual Projects:
Lead support for internal and external production projects including execution of audio and video recordings for productions.
Report on common issues to IT Manager to identify areas of IT infrastructure in need of improvement.
Assist with planning and implementation of IT projects as assigned.
Coordinate and perform regular cyber security audits on all platforms to ensure sensitive data is not inadvertently stored on the platforms.
Coordinate and provide support and training in the use of computer hardware and software applications, including basic documentation.
Research computing equipment, peripherals, materials, and software applications.
Participate in continuing education regarding software and hardware, including technology training and certifications.
Support and implement web design and graphics to various online platforms.
Provide additional web maintenance.
Participate in and execute strategic planning for the entire IT department.
Act as back up to Operations Coordinator in their absence.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum two years of experience working in school, nonprofit, or community setting.
One year relevant experience working with children from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds.
Proven work experience as an administrative coordinator or similar role.
Demonstrated ability to manage conflict through equitable decision-making and effective problem-solving.
High tolerance for ambiguity, changing work priorities and deadlines, and a willingness to take on responsibilities and to prioritize work on multiple projects.
Highly detail-focused and results-oriented.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multiple constituencies including families, parents, staff, and students.
Team-player attitude and strong customer-service orientation.
Excellent organizational, planning, and implementation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Current Food Handlers Card and CPR/First Aid Certificate required post hire (reimbursed).
