Job Details

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Associate specialized in Insurance Coverage, boasting 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in litigating first-party and bad faith insurance coverage cases.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll delve into diverse and stimulating cases, collaborating closely with senior attorneys. Your tasks will include:

  • Crafting legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and memos.
  • Engaging in thorough legal research.
  • Managing document production and conducting depositions.
  • Interfacing with clients regularly.
  • Advocating for insurance companies in first-party insurance cases.
  • Assessing coverage during claims investigations.
  • Formulating coverage evaluations and recommendations.
  • Crafting and revising insurance policy forms.
  • Negotiating settlements and preparing for trials.
  • Handling appellate motions and briefs.
  • Embracing the journey to becoming a proficient civil litigator and trial attorney.
  • Balancing individual work and teamwork effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bar membership in Georgia or eligibility.
  • Admission to federal district courts in Georgia.
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • 5-8 years of pertinent experience, including first-party and bad faith coverage matters.
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to autonomously deliver high-quality work.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient organizational and time management skills.
