The Boeing Company is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Industrial Security Specialist (PERSEC) to join their team in Mesa, AZ. This role will support multiple programs and activities. Position Responsibilities: Provides authoritative guidance to leadership by advising on personnel security policies, procedures & regulations to determine impact of new or changing policy and implement process improvements.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Service Center.
Implements government policies and company security processes & procedures.
Investigates, analyzes, and resolves complex questions and issues pertaining to PERSEC and service center activities.
Assist in the protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.
Provides leadership, mentoring, guidance, and training to less experienced personnel. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience dealing directly with government customers
5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and all levels of leadership
Experience working with the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM)
5+ years of experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
Experience with the Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07, Volumes 1-4 E xperience with the Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCID) and/or Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 5+ years of experience with Personnel Security (PERSEC)
Experience with SIMS Software
Experience with NBIS Typical Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.). Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
