Parker Tide is a veteran-owned, small business in DC. We serve as a value-added partner to the government. We are currently seeking a Senior HR Specialist to work with one of our DC clients. Period of Performance: One year and four option years (100% Onsite)
Experience: 8-10 years' experience in federal position risk/sensitivity level program best practices.
Salary: Depends on experience.
Investigation: Active Top-Secret Clearance. Duties:
• Draft Position Risk and Sensitivity Level directives, policies, and procedures regarding position designation to reflect current operations and address current OPM/DNI policies and guidelines.
• Develop documentation that clearly describes project future budgeting and staff workload requirements.
• Use workforce data and other information related to time spent completing work activities to develop needs assessments and deploy staffing resources where they are needed most.
• Identify and address staffing shortfalls to enhance accountability over staffing decisions.
• Develop documentation to track an employee's investigation versus the designation of their position and ensure they are properly aligned.
• Develop a system to communicate any changes in the onboarding process to COR and other personnel involved in the onboarding of employees and contractors. Qualifications/Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of tasks in support of the work of position risk and sensitivity level management and personnel security specialists. Independently identify federal-level Position Risk and Sensitivity Level requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to process position risk and sensitivity level position change requests of varying complexity; processes the actions, responding to internal and external personnel security program inquiries.
• Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of position risk and sensitivity level and personnel security program support duties.
• Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of projects in support of the work of position risk and sensitivity level and the agency personnel security program.
• Expert-level oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; able to adapt style and tone to effectively engage the audience.
• Demonstrated expert ability to write and edit clear, concise, conversational, grammatically correct documents (e.g., reports, special studies, policy, and procedures).
