The Senior HR Project Manager is responsible for leading team members, peers, and stakeholder groups in the delivery of complex HR projects which enable strategic regional and global business and HR initiatives. This role is responsible for leading the planning and execution of projects with a focus on operational and process excellence within the Genuine Parts HR Shared Services organization. The role will work closely with subject matter experts, HR technology teams, and key stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes that will transform the HR Shared Services experience. Key Responsibilities Project Management Develops project business cases to appropriately prioritize and deliver on organizational objectives. Lead and oversee projects related to process excellence, process redesign, automation, and optimization by leveraging project management methodologies to monitor, track, and deliver expected project related outcomes. Develops project documentation to track and report out on project deliverables including project charters, project plans, timelines, milestone reporting, and risk mitigation. Proactively identify risks, changes in scope, or potential delays and proactively define and implement contingency plans. Manage internal and external project resources to ensure on time, in scope, and on budget delivery of strategic project initiatives. Process Excellence In collaboration with key stakeholders and partners, develops and implements strategic plans for enhancing HR processes to align with organizational goals and objectives. Conduct thorough analysis of existing HR processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Leverages personal experience, research, and benchmarking to develop creative and contemporary solutions to complex challenges. Change and Stakeholder Management Define and execute stakeholder management to gain appropriate engagement from all levels of the organization to ensure project success. Work closely with project partners facilitate implementation of new processes, policies, and technologies through proactive communication, training, and post implementation support. Post Implementation Transition and Sustainment Develop and execute frictionless transitions as part of post-implementation transition to business as usual. Partner with key stakeholders to establish key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of project outcomes and ensure post-implementation success. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration. Minimum 5 years of experience within Human Resources project management with a focus on process excellence and employee experience. Exceptional ability to influence without authority and a proven track record of successful project execution, leading peers, partners, and leaders through transformational projects. Strategic thinking and the ability to independently set objectives, prioritize multiple deliverables, and translate strategy to execution to drive operational excellence. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop data drive solutions. Proven track record of successfully leading HR process improvement projects from conception to implementation Excellent and proactive communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization and across organizational boundaries. An individual who demonstrates courage, curiosity, learning agility, discipline, and commitment. Business acumen and the ability to translate organizational objectives to business results. Background in process improvement, process harmonization, and optimization. Technical proficiency and previous experience with Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, Kronos, RPA, and workflow automation tools. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications preferred. 5+ years of organizational transformation experience, preferably within HR Shared Services.
