Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Job Description The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing software activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. This project offers the ability to work in an office/remote hybrid format with a team of highly skilled engineers. Job Responsibilities: Design and implement new capabilities and custom software solutions to solve unique government customer problems Follow best practices to write well-tested, high performing code Identify and r esolve issues found in existing code Integrate capabilities with external services and tools Participate in code reviews and m entor team members Communicate status and technical details with customer s Required Skills Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field Ability to communicate technical details of work Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills Open, team-oriented, with a strong desire to learn Required Experience 15+ years experience writing, maintaining , debugging, and testing code Experience with RESTful web services Experience with server-side languages, preference toward Golang , NodeJS, and/or Python Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks, preference toward Angular and Vue Experience with version control software ( e.g., Git) Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA Desired Experience Experience with c ontainerized d eployment such as Docker Experience utilizing document store databases, such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch and MongoDB Experience with Kubernetes and Helm Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Argo CD and Jenkins Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Top Secret/SCI clearance level.
