Quantcast is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The FP&A team partners with senior management to advise on strategic decision-making, leads financial planning, budgeting & forecasting, corporate financial due diligence, competitor financial analysis, and investor relations initiatives. The range of team responsibilities provide unique exposure to a wide breadth of corporate finance, including business partnership, financial modeling, all 3 statements (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow), corporate valuation and investor messaging. This position offers a significant opportunity to use creative ideas to design, implement and manage processes that support business needs, and provides significant exposure to senior management. A successful candidate is an organized self-starter with innate entrepreneurial and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Cost of Sales, APAC Sales organizations as their go-to financial expert. Be a strategic partner in shaping sales strategies and achieving financial objectives.
  • Work closely with the Sales Operations team to ensure revenue forecast accuracy and unearth actionable insights.
  • Own the Contribution Margin model, a report critical to the business in assessing the profitability of our Sales organizations.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of competitor quarterly earnings reports. Identify key financial and strategic insights from competitors' performance that can inform our company's strategy.
  • Play a pivotal role in our company-wide annual planning process. Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our overarching corporate goals and financial targets.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reports to senior management and Board of Directors.
  • Lead key internal financial processes, including monthly close and forecasting. Drive efficiency and accuracy in quarterly cost center metadata updates.
  • Proactively identify actionable insights within our financial data. Your recommendations will influence the strategic direction of our entire business.
  • Provide support to our investor relations initiatives and 409A valuation work streams.
  • Support financial due diligence as new initiatives and projects arise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or a related field; experience in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development is a plus.
  • Demonstrated strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including the ability to decipher intricate financial data and provide accurate forecasts.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential; you should be able to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail is a must.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment is crucial. As a highly organized self-starter, you should excel in situations where clarity is evolving.
  • Be a team player who is comfortable collaborating with global business partners across regions.
  • This is not a remote position; it requires on-site presence at our San Francisco office as part of Quantcast's hybrid work model.
Bonus:
  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion / Essbase and Tableau.
  • Familiarity with the ad-tech industry.

The salary range for this position is $106,800 - $144,600
