DESCRIPTION

Salary: $100,000 + bonus opportunity

Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the FP&A team in financial planning, budgeting, and business strategy. They will assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, forecasts, and provide insights to drive strategic business decisions. This role will report directly to the Director of FP&A.

MEASUREMENT OF SUCCESS:

  • Develop business unit and department P&Ls
  • Support strategic planning process through the annual budget and monthly forecast preparation.
  • Develop business scorecards
  • Create process flow and metrics definitions and documentation
  • Maintain KPI's/metrics

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Financial Analysis: Perform variance analysis to understand the business drivers behind actual results and differences to plan assumptions.
  • Data Analytics: Engage in data mining and trend analysis to generate insights for business strategies.
  • Reporting: Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and financial reports to provide a single point of truth for metrics reporting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other business units to gather necessary data and provide financial insights.
  • Data Management: Help maintain data hierarchies and ensure that the data used for analysis is accurate and secure.
  • Change Management: Assist in managing change requests related to financial models and reporting tools.
  • Documentation: Maintain process flow documentation and best practices for financial planning and analysis activities.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and data visualization skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

These include sitting for extended periods of time; ability to access and use a computer; has manual dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone and normal office equipment. Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
