Job Details

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, statements, and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Accounting & Audit: Plan, coordinate, and execute audits to evaluate financial controls, compliance with policies, and operational efficiency.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial forecasting to identify opportunities for improvement and potential risks.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review financial processes and internal controls to identify areas for enhancement. Propose and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing insights to department heads on budget performance and spending patterns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with different departments to understand their financial needs, provide analytical support, and offer insights for informed decision-making.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special financial projects, as required, to support strategic initiatives and business growth.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years' experience in an analytic role, business or financial, is preferred. Qualified candidates will have a college degree from a four-year accredited college/university with a focus on Finance and/or Accounting, Data Analysis. A degree in business administration or similar is preferred.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Prior experience in budget vs actual analysis, profit and loss analysis.
  • Ability to meet end of month, end of quarters financial deadlines.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and auditing, preferably within a corporate finance or audit firm environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and resolve unique and challenging projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Intermediate experience with VBA/Macros a plus
  • Proficient in using financial software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
