Our client, a leader in its niche with an over 70 year history, is looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join their Atlanta office. Financial Management, Excel, and data analysis experience is required. Reporting to the Controller, this is a role for an ambitious and dynamic Analyst with drive, determination, and the desire to work in a highly commercial and growth-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain complex business forecasts and budgeting models for the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Develop sales forecasts using data on market share, demographics, and anticipated regional growth.
- Develop complex business analysis and reporting for individual business units.
- Develop forecast models, revenue models and metrics/KPI's.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets such as sales records, purchasing history, types of purchase, service history, product inquiries, complaints, exposure and response to marketing campaigns and channel preferences.
- Prepare Financing Analysis including IRR, ROI and breakeven analysis.
- Prepare Ad hoc finance reports and analysis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong modeling and financial analysis skills with an understanding of financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL etc.), programming and data querying tools.
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Crystal reporting.
- Degreed with an Accounting, Finance or business concentration from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a proven financial analyst role.
