We focus on putting insurance underwriters back in the driver's seat, helping them meet their goals while providing an important service to society.

As the Senior Event Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive event marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engage target audiences, and contribute to marketing, sales and revenue goals. This is a cross-functional role where you will be partnering with various sales, marketing, and customer success teammates across the company. As the first full-time event marketing hire, this is an exciting opportunity to shape Federato's events strategy. This position will report into the VP of Marketing.

  • Research, plan, and execute comprehensive event marketing strategies aligned with overarching business objectives, including industry conferences, trade shows, local events, speaking engagements, and webinars.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including goal setting, contract and event negotiations, promotional strategy, on-site support, and post-event evaluation and reporting.
  • Own the management, execution and follow-through of the full event life cycle from event selection to lead capture to sales follow-up and nurture in order to drive lead and revenue goals.
  • Conduct in-depth post-event analyses, measuring ROI and collecting feedback and leveraging data and insights to continually refine future event strategies and approaches.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to pinpoint and prioritize participation in key events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Manage all logistical facets of events, including liaising with vendors, negotiating contracts, and XFN team alignment to deliver top-tier events.
  • Create and manage comprehensive event budgets, ensuring resource allocation efficiency and monitor expenses throughout the event lifecycle, while identifying opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
  • Negotiate vendor, venue, and supplier contracts to secure favorable terms and cost efficiency, maintaining strong vendor and partner relationships for flawless execution of services.
  • Implement strategies to maximize attendee engagement, lead generation, and overall positive event experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing, content and design to ensure consistent brand representation and messaging across all events to reinforce the company's positioning and values.
  • Partner with design team to craft event materials, signage, and promotional assets.
  • Work with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to align event activities with broader marketing and business goals.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in industry event marketing, specifically within the B2B tech industry.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and budget oversight.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on the success of events.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally, both internally and externally.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to travel to events for onsite setup and team supervision, management of the event.
  • Background in insurance or fintech is a strong plus.
$120,000 - $160,000 a year Base compensation described above. Additionally, have competitive equity structure and benefits.
