Job Details

As a Senior Estimator, you will be working closely with the project management team, clients, and contractors, ensuring that all cost estimates are accurate, competitive, and profitable. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where every project brings new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow.

As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for:

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts.
2. Reviewing design documents, project plans, and specifications to determine the scope of work.
3. Participating in the proposal process, including attending pre-bid meetings, analyzing proposal requirements, and presenting
estimates to management.
4. Negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all contracts are fair, competitive, and in the best interest of
the company.
5. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop strategies for project execution.
6. Tracking and analyzing project costs, identifying potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
7. Providing cost control and management throughout the entire project lifecycle.
8. Staying current with industry trends and advancements in cost estimation techniques and software.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

1. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction estimation.
3. Proven experience with cost estimation, project bidding, contract negotiation, and contract management.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools.
7. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
