Maxim Integrated Products, LLC ("Maxim") is filing an Application for Alien Employment Certification for the below described job description:

Position: Senior Engineer, Product Line Management (San Jose, California)

Duties: Strategic mindset: keep long term impact in mind when setting goals and driving new product requirements with engineering, application, and business teams. Revenue: meet/exceed the revenue and profitability goals for the product line through demand creation working closely with sales/ FAE on opportunities reviews, pricing escalation and regular customer visits. NPI: drive new production introduction (NPI) that includes creating product requirements, business case, customers, markets, competitive analysis etc. From launch to introduction. Product promotion: develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the products in the market, including finding adjacent markets and customers. Field interaction: proactively works with sales and FAES and maintain close relationships with top tier one customers, account managers, distributors to understand opportunities. Cross functional interaction: collaborate and communicate the product strategies effectively to cross functional teams - engineering, applications, demand planning, forecasting, product sampling etc. Pricing strategy: win new business and drive profitability through effective pricing. Develop collateral, product launches, campaigns, and go-to-market strategies.

May be eligible for a hybrid schedule (work from home and the office.

Requirements: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded System or closely related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five years of experience in job offered or closely related occupation.

Must possess expertise/ knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/ knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/ knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." Required expertise/ knowledge includes:


• Knowledge of Signal Chain architecture and requirement;


• Electrical engineering and applications skills;


• Knowledge of clocks, signal chain and RF uses case in the industrial market;


• Presentation, and business/financial analysis skills;


• Ability to identify profitable business opportunities and close on them quickly; and


• Ability to engage technical customers and propose solutions.

Salary: $180,003.00 - $182,390.00/year
