Softek Global Services provides both operations & strategic support to tribal 8(a) & commercial organizations. Our client we are supporting is a family of companies are comprised of multiple SBA Certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified organizations focused on delivering Information Technology, Management Consulting, and General Construction solutions to the Federal Government along with the Commercial Sector. They are actively seeking a Senior Employment Facilitator based in Honolulu, HI. This is a part time, onsite role. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Puyenpa team supporting the DOLVETS/TAPS program assisting transitioning service members, and their families. The experience, and qualifications we seek for this role include:
BA/BS degree from accredited university and at least 3 years Transition Assistance (TAP) training experience OR an Associate's degree and 5 years Transition Assistance (TAP) training experience.
Previous experience which demonstrates understanding of private and public sector employment processes
Previous experience as a Transition Assistance (TAP) classroom instructor or career counselor
Able to communicate effectively, be comfortable instructing and speaking in front of a group, be observant of others, possess the ability to engage an audience, and respond to inquiries independently.
Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Proficient in MS Windows and Office.
