Essential Job Functions:
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and electronic controls on all plant equipment.
- Assist in upgrading electrical equipment and electronic controls.
- Develop control wiring schematics/maintain files.
- PLC Programming.
- Review product improvement ideas and recommend action to implement them.
- Assist in determining spare parts requirements.
- Provide machine design (electrical) proposals.
- Maintain all electrical upgrades on software and in hard copy in an orderly manner.
- Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- A.S. degree in electrical/electronics field or equivalent (3 years) in training and experience.
- Knowledge of basic machine design and setup.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical/electronic troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of PLCs and PLC programming.
