Our client is currently seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive design experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electrical engineering, possess strong project management skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide expert engineering design for electrical engineering projects.

Manage and contribute to all phases of electrical engineering projects, including design development, presentation drawings, specifications, and reports.

Collaborate with the design team to ensure design intent is incorporated into construction documentation and specifications.

Support the construction phase by addressing queries, providing clarifications, visiting sites, resolving issues, and reviewing submittals and shop drawings.

Cultivate professional relationships with clients, regulators, and agencies.

Maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, financial data, client correspondence, and project schedules.

Ensure technical document accuracy through Quality Assurance reviews.

Contribute to project planning, cost management, and scheduling.

Participate in marketing and business development activities, including proposal development and providing technical expertise.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.

Registered Engineer (PE) in Tennessee; licensure strongly preferred.

Ability to obtain professional engineering registration in multiple states.

10-15 years of experience as an electrical engineer.

Project management experience in design/build projects.

Proficiency in Revit Structure; essential.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; essential.

Thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles, practices, and techniques.

Proficient in integrated Construction Documents.

Strong technical writing skills preferred.

LEED Accreditation is a plus.

Ability to collaborate with remote team members using technology.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated experience in client interaction and team collaboration.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
