Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee electrical department - including people management
• Design and analysis of electrical power distribution systems, and lighting systems
• Design and analysis of low-voltage systems, including fire alarm, communications, security, public address, etc.
• Manage calculations related to electrical systems
• Proficient in electrical systems design software
• Creation of electrical drawings and specifications
• Review all submittals from contractors and respond to contractor questions

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE: Professional Engineering License in Nebraska or Iowa
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems and low voltage.
• Proficiency in using engineering software, particularly Revit.
• Strong knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes, electrical codes, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong leadership and project management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, other departments, and clients.
