Often, FCS leads the nation in initiating research studies and offering ground-breaking new therapies to patients. Come join us today. RESPONSIBILITIES Full-Time, Senior Dosimetrist to join our Team. Full-Time, Monday - Friday Work Week, Days (Example: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Under the direction of the Medical Physicist and/or the Radiation Oncologist the Senior Dosimetrist will calculate computerized isodose plans for radiation oncology patients. Compute standard dose calculations and determine computerized generation of isodose curves for radiation treatment programs. Calculate treatment machine settings, document calculations, and record treatment data in therapy chart. In addition, under the direction of the Director of Medical Physics, lead and/or participate in: Dosimetrists training in clinical applications, processes and procedures Development of new dosimetric processes and procedures Education, mentoring, and technical support of dosimetrists QUALIFICATIONS Education: Associate in science degree required. Bachelor of science preferred Previous Experience: At least eight (8) years of full-time dosimetry experience. Core Capabilities: Experienced and proficient using Varian Eclipse TPS and ARIA TMS extensive experience planning the full range of external beam treatments including IMRT, VMAT, SBRT/ SRS is required. Experience planning and support of brachytherapy procedures including HDR and LDR techniques is required. Experience in the validation process of TPS algorithms.
