The Senior Director of Product Marketing will work closely with the product development team and will be responsible for synthesizing industry, market, and customer intelligence to build compelling messaging and positioning for Definitive Healthcare's data and analytics platform and solutions. You will develop organization-wide go-to-market strategies and plans in support of sales success and revenue growth. In this role, the Director of Product Marketing will have experience with product pricing and differentiation, persona needs and buyer pain points, use case identification and development, and sales and account management enablement for new business and upsell revenue bookings growth. With a strong healthcare industry background and experience in product marketing, you will be an excellent communicator, who is comfortable presenting in front of large sales teams, clients and at conferences. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and have the resources to expand your team in 2020.

What you'll do:
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for product launches with detailed execution plans, integrated timelines, and target outcomes for the full organization (product, marketing, sales, account management, training, and enablement)
  • Build compelling and persuasive differentiated market positioning for the Definitive Healthcare platform and all products.
  • Prepare enablement content for all phases of the sales funnel to improve penetration and conversions.
  • Build product collateral, website copy, and deep thought leadership content to be delivered through white papers, webinars, conference talks, speaking opportunities and reports.
  • Measure performance with a strong reliance on data, deliver in-depth analysis of product use and marketing opportunities, build dashboards with influential KPIs and goals attainment progress.
What you'll need:
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience or equivalent roles
  • Experience working in the healthcare sector
  • Experience managing product & market research programs
  • Experience designing, developing, and managing operational metrics dashboards for business users with tools such as Tableau Server and Grafana
  • Sharp business judgement and the ability to see past the noise
  • Strong communicator, attentive listener and compelling explainer
  • Strong team leader with powerful and engaging interpersonal skills
  • Passion for product positioning and differentiation
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
