Client Accounting Services, Senior Director Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to provide financial management and strategic leadership to our not-for-profit clients. As Senior Director, you will work with multiple clients, providing financial guidance and support to assist them in achieving their mission and goals. You will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the not-for-profit sector and will possess excellent
communication skills, as you will be communicating financial information to clients, board members, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

• Provide financial leadership and strategic guidance to not-for-profit clients, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with client leadership to develop financial strategies that support their mission and goals.

• Conduct regular financial analyses to identify areas of opportunity or risk.

• Provide guidance and support for grant applications.

• Manage and mentor accounting staff, set clear performance goals and expectations for team members and conduct regular performance evaluations.

• Oversee staff members, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of various projects.

• The ability to foster relationships with clients and possess the ability to bring in new business.
Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

• A CPA license

• 5 plus years of experience in public accounting as well as not- for-profit accounting experience required.

• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

• Experience with financial reporting and compliance for not-for-profit organizations.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop accounting staff.
