Job Summary: Leads the team responsible for Equinix's brand, messaging, and content strategies. Individual will define and execute the brand strategy for core Equinix and the brand integration of all acquisitions including providing governance and implementation of IBX and facilities branding globally. This leader will also own the content strategy across the buyers' lifecycle to engage a clearly defined and understood target audience and a content architecture that defines the end-to-end workflow for content creation, publishing, and localization. This role will be regarded as the "owner and guardian" of Equinix's brand around the world, able to translate ideas into an innovative and inspiring vision. Responsibilities Drive a globally consistent flexible fit-for-purpose brand and content creation strategy (including messaging and content architectures) Develop and execute plans to amplify the Equinix brand worldwide, including storytelling, tone of voice, messaging, design, and naming Execute brand repositioning: Develop online and offline brand marketing messaging that aligns with Equinix's evolving Platform strategy (working in close cooperation with the Product Marketing and Segment Marketing teams) Drive the alignment of the Global Brand and Content Strategy across the operating regions Partner with the Digital Marketing and Marketing Campaign teams to deliver an online marketing strategy that attracts, converts, and retains customers Implement a content management strategy, process, and system. Deliver relevant and valuable content via the right medium when and where needed to inform, educate, and delight customers Execute the production of creative/editorial concepts that are used in all visual communication mediums including print, video, events, online marketing, website social media and blog Ensure global consistency: Develop and implement consistent marketing processes and systems globally Drive efficient and at-scale third party relationships: Manage external agencies and relationships with marketing services to achieve global outcomes efficiently and effectively Lead development and implementation of brand, content, and production KPIs, including the design and operation of relevant, synthesized dashboards, reports and analyses Motivate employees globally around shared vision surrounding value and impact of our brand Shape a collaborative, innovative, transparent, and entrepreneurial culture, working with peers and key stakeholders (specifically including Equinix's product organization, customer care organization, HR organization) Create close working relationships with all parts of Equinix's global marketing function including the regional teams in order to help scale the brand function Qualifications 20+ years demonstrated track record in Brand Management and Content/Messaging Development preferred Bachelors degree preferred. Master's degree or equivalent education or experience desired Experience serving, collaborating with and influencing executive management Proven track record in conceptualizing, implementing, and managing an exciting brand vision and marketing plans Agency management experience (preferred) Successful experience in brand management and content creation in a direct management/supervisory role Experience working with a complex, multi-product, IT portfolio Data-driven approach to achieve measurable outcomes Strong relationship builder across functions Can negotiate and influence opinions and decision-making at the senior executive level Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly creative but able to ground ideas into workable, practical solutions Strong internal marketing and change management skills.
