We are looking for a talented and motivated Product Manager Leader to join our team and own the end to end Optimizely One direction and roadmap i.e. the connection points between our products. You will help us make bigger bets leveraging the power across our different products to drive differentiation on the market. The Product Management team is a global team responsible for bringing market input into the business, planning product and service road maps and guiding the company's focus on creating the most value for our customers. Product leaders interact across the business to ensure communication is flowing and our products are successful.

Job Responsibilities
  • Define (in partnership with the CPO) Optimizely's strategy and direction for Optimizely One investments and the 12-18 mo roadmap to achieve it. Align with company goals as you do this
  • Take lead in understanding the use-case we need to solve for, define the solution and drive development of capabilities that add value to customers. Collaborate with the product leaders for each of our businesses to help drive this vision and roadmap.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest competitive research and trends and translate into what actions Optimizely should take
  • Drive usage and track customer value as a key indicator of success in the role. You will have ownership of defining and setting targets for the metrics we track.

Skills required:

  • Strong user experience and customer value focus to partner with design to create solutions that users will love and use.
  • Cross team collaboration and ability to work with customers and several internal teams.
  • Confidently drive product direction in collaboration with engineering partners. Will mentor/grow PMs. While this is not initially a manager role, your seniority and impact should be felt across the team.
Knowledge and Experience

5+ years of Product leadership experience or equivalent, focused on delivering value to end users/customers

Ability to play a leadership role, be self-motivated with a strong business acumen

Service oriented, but good negotiating and communication skills

Understanding of digital content and commerce domains, the customer needs and the competitive landscape.

Strong execution on delivering value for customers

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
