The Sr. Director of Oncology Distribution, Community GPOs and Key Accounts reports to the VP, Market Access, Oncology and will lead a team of 3 National Account Directors responsible for relacorilant distribution, specialty pharmacy partnerships, community GPO partnerships, and partnering with targeted community oncology key accounts with in-practice dispensing capabilities to support patient access and adoption of relacorilant.

Responsibilities:

  • Distribution and Community Oncology strategy - Partner with the oncology brand team and Access Marketing to team to develop and execute the distribution, community GPO and key account strategies to ensure patient access to relacorilant. Effectively lead and coach your team to execute the following responsibilities
  • Distribution - Negotiate specialty distribution (SDs) service agreements and related documents and maintain agreed upon service levels. Perform periodic business reviews
  • Specialty Pharmacies (SPs) - Negotiate service and data sharing agreements with selected oncology SP partners to meet brand objectives supporting patient access to relacorilant. Coordinate periodic business reviews
  • Community Oncology GPOs - Partner with community oncology GPOs (examples: Unity, Onmark, ION, etc.) to educate members on relacorilant to support patient access through GPO meeting sponsorship opportunities and in-practice program opportunities. Coordinate periodic business reviews
  • Contracting Strategy - Provide insights and strategic input in developing contracts to support patient access through in-practice dispensing
  • Community Oncology Key Accounts - Partner with community oncology key accounts with in-practice dispensing capabilities and centralized decision making to support adoption of relacorilant. Coordinate periodic business reviews with targeted accounts
  • Field Sales Collaboration - Collaborate with field sales leadership to ensure coordination in key community oncology accounts
  • Trade Organizations - Support partnerships with oncology trade organizations such as COA and NCODA
  • Account Strategy and Planning - Analyze product volume, trends, and growth, for assigned accounts. Ensure team develops and implements account level business plans. Work with market access marketing to develop segment strategies and resources to support adoption
  • Ensure Contract Performance - Monitor and ensure that partners adhere to contract terms

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:

  • Experience leading and coaching teams in oncology specialty distribution, specialty pharmacy, community oncology GPO, and community oncology key accounts
  • Strategic mindset and patient centric approach to the business
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Extensive segment customer relationships and experience
  • Experience launching oral oncology therapies in the community oncology setting with focus on driving results and meeting or exceeding objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead account teams to meeting objectives and drive results within agreed upon timelines
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to engage all levels of the organization including C-Suite level relationships
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on finding solutions to meet organizational goals.
  • Collaborative style fostering cross-functional collaboration
  • Working knowledge of US health care policies and relevant legal, compliance, regulatory and reporting requirements
  • Ability to accommodate extensive travel (50-75%)

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is highly desired
  • 15 years relative experience and with at least 10 years of pharmaceutical oncology experience preferred
  • 5+ years of account team leadership experience
  • Pharmaceutical field sales leadership experience preferred

The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position is $252,000 - $300,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
