As the Senior Director of Organizational Capabilities, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's success by coaching and developing our leaders. The Senior Director - Organizational Capabilities role reports to the VP - Corporate Strategy and Head of Organizational Capabilities, and has the following accountabilities:


Coach and Develop:

You'll be the guiding light for our Business Transformation Team Members. Your responsibilities include:

  • Onboarding Excellence: Rapidly orient new team members, equipping them with the tools and methods needed to lead and deliver results on a diverse portfolio of enterprise, BU, and functional initiatives.
  • Project Approach and Execution: Serve as a coach to each team member on successful project approach and execution. Model professionalism and positivity in each interaction, adapting and providing support to a diverse and hard-working team of project leaders.

Educate:

Elevate our team's knowledge and skills through top-notch professional education. Your focus areas:

  • Tailored Learning: Deliver high-quality courses and modules customized to the unique needs of our Business Transformation team.
  • Change Management Expertise: Provide training to Team Lilly leaders and individual contributors seeking to build their knowledge and skills to drive important change across the company.

Strategic Project Leadership:

Collaborate closely with the Corporate Strategy Head of Organizational Capabilities to:

  • Prioritize and Lead: Take charge of a portfolio of projects that demand advanced project management, change management, team effectiveness, strategy development, and process improvement expertise.
  • Results Oriented Approach: Deliver results that advance top company priorities.

We're looking for a seasoned Organizational Effectiveness Consultant with a passion for driving positive change. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and lead transformative initiatives across diverse projects. This role seeks someone who thrives in high-stakes situations, has a track record of success, and possesses a collaborative spirit.


Key skills you'll bring:
  • Coaching and Leadership: Leverage your mature coaching skills to guide leaders through challenging assignments. Your ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity will be critical.
  • Strategic Impact: As an internal consultant, you'll drive successful outcomes by applying your expertise in organizational effectiveness, innovation, and strategy development. Your toolkit includes proven methods such as Organizational Change Management, Team Effectiveness, and Consulting Skills.
  • Certified Excellence: Your multiple qualifications demonstrate your commitment to professional growth. You've successfully delivered education in areas like Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, and more.
  • Impactful Communication: Storytelling is your superpower. Whether it's crafting narratives for partners or facilitating workshops, your communication skills inspire action.

Basic qualifications:

Bachelors degree required (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience with proven background in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Change Management, Executive Coaching, or related field


Additional Preferences:
  • Experience and professional presence contracting effectively with executives and senior leaders.
  • Efficient in approach. Strong bias for action and implementation of solutions.
  • High tolerance for and effectiveness working in ambiguous, high-stakes situations.
  • Driven to succeed. Unsinkable and positive in tone when faced with project changes and short-term setbacks.
  • Highly-collaborative team member. "Owns" their part in positive team engagement and team health.
