POSITION TITLE: Senior Director, Commercial Operations

LOCATION: Remote US

This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA, and is fully remote within the US. Travel is expected domestically and internationally when needed.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop innovative processes and tools to support commercial performance across the department
  • Develop, maintain, and routinely track key strategic achievements and metrics through various deal stages
  • Develop visualizations of various performance metrics including forecasting, account management, compensation
  • Develop creative ways to share data across Commercial and the company in full to support timely and informed decision making
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Operations on the visualization of key performance indicators for the sales and account management team within
  • Address questions from Commercial leadership, the sales team, the account management team, and other related functions regarding analytics, reports, performance, and other related topics
  • Support leadership in annual and long-range planning activities
  • Support various reporting activities throughout quarterly and annual cycles
  • Partner closely with Commercial leadership to develop, roll out and implement annual compensation plans for the Commercial team
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Finance, Sales, Account Management, and other teams to deliver meaningful solutions
  • Track progress against commercial plans including a commercial budget, forecast, and compensation to provide meaningful insights
  • Become a subject matter expert and resource to the company and Commercial leadership in key commercial metrics
  • Partner with leadership to support various initiatives to drive collaborative selling processes across the organization
  • Liaise with other departments and functional teams on business unit activities and to track progress against shared goals and objectives
  • Partner with the Chief Commercial Officer to monitor and analyze department process flow to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Special projects, ad hoc analysis, and reporting as needed
  • Report to Chief Commercial Officer

What you bring to TriNetX:

  • BA or BS degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field; mastered preferred for Executive Director level
  • 6-10+ years of work experience
  • Prior experience in Commercial Operations or Sales Operations preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive initiatives and serve as a valued thought partner to CCO and Commercial organizations in full
  • Demonstrated track record of ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to get things done and grow responsibilities over time
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of pride and ownership and a demonstrated willingness to go the extra mile
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to build informative and captivating slides
