Senior Directors of Finance (MassChallenge, Inc., Boston, MA): While acting as the primary in-house accountant and subject matter expert for MassChallenge Inc., and its subsidiary MassChallenge Mexico, the Director will report directly to the COO and is responsible for day-to-day financial and accounting ledger activities to defining key accounting processes and controls. Daily job duties include: Oversight of day to day financial and accounting operations and be the primary point of contact for financial planning & analysis, cash management, and KPI reporting; Oversight for financial operations including, accounts payable, accounts receivable, corporate credit cards, accrued liabilities, cash management, domestic grants, donations and sponsorships management; Provide timely and accurate financial position at all times and analysis of budgets, forecasts, reports and trends; Present comprehensive financial updates by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points; Applying GAAP and Financial Reporting Standards for all organizational reports, ledgers and tax filings; Create all financial reports and tax documentation for the organization; Compute, withhold, and account for all payroll deductions and payroll processing; Provide financial analysis of reports and fiscal position of the organization at all times; Assist in all aspects of annual financial audits; Consolidate and control the reporting and financial information of our Mexican subsidiary company (and other overseas projects and expansion of business units in Latin America); and perform all above duties as it applies to our Mexican subsidiary. International travel to foreign subsidiaries may be required, but no more than 2 trips per year and NO foreign language requirement, only English.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting (foreign equivalent degrees accepted) and 2 years experience in any related positions performing oversight of financial and accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, and KPI reporting. CPA membership not required.
