Reponsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include managing the application schema, design, and extensions within the database for development, test, and production environments for Oracle database on Linux platform.

The responsibilities also include database technical support, performance tuning, application administration and consulting,and providing support for Oracle, Oracle Data guard, Oracle Golden Gate.

This position is responsible for performing tasks associated with the Leading the

management of the Cúram application schema, design, and extensions within the

database, in development, test and production environments.

Provision and manage Oracle database instances on AWS/LinuxInstall, configure,

and troubleshoot Golden Gate for batch and online process synchronization for high

volume database

Set up replication and high availability for Oracle databases using tools like Golden

gate

Monitor Oracle database performance

Troubleshoot Oracle database problems

Perform backups and restores of Oracle databases

Work with application developers to identify and refine data requirements,table/database design, assist in SQL wr

Required Skills:

Demonstrable skills in designingschema, access patterns, lockingstrategy, SQL development, andtuning Oracle Databases in anenterprise environment

Modifying the database structure,creation, and update to existingdatabase objects per applicationneeds

Experience in configuring,monitoring, and Cachemanagement for Oracle databaseservers

Strong experience in allocatingsystem storage and planningfuture storage requirements forthe database system

Experience in Install, configure,and troubleshoot/maintain GoldenGate

Must have experience inimplementing and supportingOracle on AWS including EC2,RDS and S3

Experience authoring code inSQL, PL/SQL on Unix/Linux

Proficiency in one or more shell

scripting languages

Hands-on experience enrollingusers and maintaining systemsecurity, Controlling user accessto the database, Locking downhost access

Monitoring performance metrics,response times, and request rates

Designing and implementingbackup/restore service anddisaster recovery (DR) solutions

Installing and upgrading thedatabase software, Patching thesoftware that powers database

GoodAnalytical,Technical,TimeManagement and Communication Skills

Participate in on-call rotation and weekend work

Experience with advanced security and Oracle DataGuard replication

Experience in Oracle Data Masking and Subsetting

Demonstrable skills with Cúram Software and database schema
