Senior Database Administrators

PERM Location: Cary, North Carolina and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Title: Senior Database Administrators (HCL2044) Multiple job openings are available. Job Description: Oversee design, database administration, and configuration of implemented systems. Work at the highest level of all technical phases. Install, configure, maintain, build, and back-up databases. Responsible for tuning databases as per the clients needs on multiple operating systems. Oversee operations and utilization of established procedures and methodologies to transfer data across different platforms. Monitor system security and provide production support to clients. Travel and work at client sites as assigned. Job Requirements: Requires Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field plus one (1) year experience in the job offered, or related IT or engineering role. Will accept a Bachelors degree plus five (5) years of described experience in lieu of Masters degree plus one (1) year of described experience. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
