Senior Data Management Analyst needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Houston, TX. Contract Length: 9+ months, likely to extend or convert to client FTE Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance is required to be considered for this position. Our client is seeking a Data Management Analyst contractor to support a critical program. This team faces several content management issues that are often overlooked due to time constraints or lack of expertise. By addressing these challenges, the Data Management Analyst will primarily provide recommendations for implementation and execution to significantly enhance clients data management capabilities, improve interoperability, and streamline key processes. Required Qualifications: Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience. Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytic, Data Management, Computer Science, or similar field. Relevant analytic, technical, auditing or accounting qualifications; familiarity establishing metadata structures. Experience working with subject matter experts in a wide variety of areas, ability to collaborate to find data sources. Ability to synthesize ideas to support audit objectives. This requires a broad knowledge of analytic techniques and the ability to know where/when to apply each technique, given the data available for an audit. Experience supporting audit objectives with analytics; ability to document all steps taken to produce analytic outputs. Experience summarized analytic product outputs as part of an audit narrative (report). Working knowledge of data governance best practices. Ability to maintain access control of sensitive data. Experience capturing and eliciting analytic requirements from stakeholders. Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity and improve decision making. Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered expert in Data Management Analysis. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives. Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
