As our Senior Data Center Operator, you will be part of a dynamic team, working hand-in-hand with global teams as the most senior Data Center Operator member. As an integral part of A10's global IT team, you will install and maintain network resources, ensuring data center security and managing the uptime of A10 systems. As a focal point of contact for the global DCO team, you will work closely with the global Data Center Operator team to implement standards and best practices. You will expand your knowledge base of skills as you contribute as a member of a cross-functional team that operates in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Operate the data center program to achieve 100% uptime and customer service level agreement (SLA) compliance
Ensure the facility complies with ISO and SOX regulations
Manage the development, implementation and administration of operational processes, programs, and systems
Act as a lead of the data center operations team and HQ on-site technical representative
Interact and assist with items such as tours of potential clients, technical advice, and review of proposed contracts
Administer (and contribute to) the data center energy conservation program
Conduct capacity and asset management planning for the data center
Review, recommend and implement additions, modifications, and improvements to the facility
Manage and oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment
Obtain and review vendor bids for maintenance, support, and repairs; determine appropriate vendor, ensure vendor adheres to quality, scheduling, budgetary guidelines, policies, procedures, and standards
Develop and maintain work plans, estimates, and schedules for projects
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
CompTIA ServerPlus, CompTIA Network, or CCNP certification would be advantageous
7-10 years of experience as a data center technician, or similar
In-depth knowledge of data center environments, servers, and network equipment
Extensive experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining data center equipment
Exceptional ability to work as part of a team, provide IT support, and resolve errors
Ability to keep up with advancements in data center infrastructure and technologies
Proficiency in documenting network processes
Exceptional communication skills
Willingness to respond to network and server errors after hours
Other Desired Skills: Cisco experience a plus
Ability to work with 3rd party vendors on quotations, technical support, inquiries, etc.
Ability to produce high-quality documentation
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple issues
