Senior Cyber Security Specialist with Security Clearance

JOB TITLE: Senior Cyber Security Specialist D9Tech is seeking a Senior Risk Management and Information Assurance Specialist with a robust background in Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Information Assurance (IA) security compliance, alongside a deep familiarity with networked systems management. This role is essential for maintaining and enhancing our cybersecurity defenses, ensuring compliance with evolving DoD standards, and managing the technological infrastructure vital to our operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security compliance, network management, and the ability to adapt and implement new technologies seamlessly within our existing framework. CLEARANCE: Secret Clearance is required RESPONSIBILITIES:
DoD Risk Management Framework Compliance: Lead and ensure all information systems adhere to the DoD RMF and IA security standards.
Information Assurance Policy Implementation: Develop and manage IA security compliance policies, programs, and processes in line with DoD requirements.
Network Management Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend new network management technologies, focusing on the seamless integration into existing infrastructures and enhancing security posture.
IAVA Compliance and System Updates: Analyze Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) requirements for system applicability and lead the remote updating of systems to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Network Switch and Systems Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of network switches and ensure the reliable operation of networked systems through regular updates and security checks.
Comprehensive IT Inventory Management: Demonstrate familiarity with Comprehensive Information Technology Inventory (CITI) and adeptness in making system changes within this framework to ensure accurate and up-to-date asset management. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Experience: At least nine (9) years in DoD Risk Management Framework and Information Assurance (IA) security compliance, with significant experience in networked systems management, network switch maintenance, and IT inventory management.
NOTE: Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals Certification and Linux + Certified requirements will be required within 3 months by completing the coursework on LinkedIn Learning and/or FedVTE and providing proof of each completed module D9Tech Resources LLC is an EOE.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
