Osi Vision is seeking a Senior Cryptographic Engineer to support the development of Systems Requirements Documents and Analyses of Solutions for Cryptographic Transformation initiatives. Cryptographic Transformation initiatives vary from early concepts to efforts that are in the Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR). This support will help the Air Force reduce technology risk, engineering integration, and life-cycle cost risk and determine the appropriate set of technologies to be integrated into full systems to make sound business decisions on initiating formal acquisition programs during Engineering, Manufacturing and Development (EMD). Primary Responsibilities Review and analyze results of studies conducted by University Affiliated Research Centers to identify critical requirements and opportunities for tradeoffs between performance, size, weight, and power and re-programmability of algorithms and trust anchors.
Acting as a liaison between the assigned IIPT and the user community, identify functional and interface requirements to include but not limited to, data storage architectures, end user data concepts of operation, physical/logical interfaces, size, weight, power, performance, environmental, data classification, etc.
Take into consideration end user host performance specifications, interface documentation, and any constraints to fully define functional requirements.
Leverage Concept Characterization and Technical Description (CCTD) documents as well as documentation from prior end user requirement elicitation efforts.
Identify Risks associated with tradeoffs and technology gaps and develop risk assessments and mitigations.
Identify and analyze operational considerations and constraints that would inhibit effective fielding, operations, and support of the user community.
Assess Key Management (KM) options and work with NSA and stakeholders to identify KM alternatives that support end user data concepts of operation.
Aid in the development of documents (technical, security, risk and test) required for entry to Milestone B. Other duties as assigned within the primary responsibilities of a Senior Cryptographic Engineer and User Community Liaison. Knowledge and Skill Requirements Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Education/Experience Engineering Degree Minimum of 7 years of experience providing cryptographic engineering systems support
Experience drafting highly technical documentation, briefings, and reports
Experience leading Integrated Product Teams
Ability to effectively communicate highly technical information both orally and in writing
Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Knowledge of DoD Acquisition and Risk Management processes
Ability to work with a wide variety of contributors in a fast-paced and demanding environment is essential Required licenses or certifications Must be a U.S. Citizen
