SRI International has an immediate need for a Senior Contracts Officer to join our dynamic team of contracts professionals. As part of SRI's Contracts team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your experience in Government contract management/administration to support SRI's team of engineers and scientists as they develop unique solutions that make the world safer, healthier, and more productive. This position is seeking candidates who will work in one of SRI's offices in Menlo Park, CA; Ann Arbor, MI; Boulder, CO; or Arlington, VA. This is an onsite position. Telework will be considered. With minimal supervision, the Senior Contracts Officer will review and approve all contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, satisfaction of customer specifications, and protection of the company's contractual posture. Support will include: Leading contract management administration activities for assigned portfolio of Government grants, contracts, and OTA's from multiple federal agencies, acting as the primary point of contact on complex contract issues.
Reviewing solicitations and proposals to ensure compliance with regulations and SRI policies.
Performing contract administration functions when SRI is serving as prime contractor directly to a US Government customer or as a subcontractor to a prime government contractor.
Serving as the primary interface with Government Contracting Officers.
Working with project and technical staff, finance, sales and service teams as well as the legal department to structure contracts and support proposal preparation.
Advising management of contractual rights, obligations and risks and providing interpretation of terms and conditions with minimal supervisor support.
Responding to inquiries regarding contract obligations.
Drafting and reviewing various agreements such as nondisclosure agreements and teaming agreements.
Regularly spotting issues and proactively working with other functional areas to suggest solutions. Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
Must have a Top Secret (TS) clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
Strong oral, written, organizational problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Extensive experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and agency supplements. NCMA's CPCM or CFCM certification a plus.
Detail oriented.
Must be able to meet deadlines.
Ability to work as part of a team and build collaborative relationships. The salary range is: $130,689.00-$163,015.00. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles.
