Position Summary: This position is a multipurpose task position.
•   It exists to assist the Solutions Team in securing new, additional and renewal business. For example, once a prospect/customer has communicated its interest in securing such a relationship contractually, a Sr. Contract Analyst will work with the Solutions Team until such contract is completed and signed. This entails gathering data such as terms, conditions, and operational descriptions, securing pricing and credit, working with PTL to secure equipment leases and literally writing a contract for legal review and subsequently, the customer's signature. A Sr. Contract Analyst is also responsible for communicating any such new, add or renewal business to the organization so that a customer's internal records for billing, accounting and the like are set up accordingly. Similarly, a Sr. Contract Analyst is also responsible for tracking and documenting (in the contract) all operational adjustments and communicating such adjustments to the organization so that internal records are kept up to date.
•   It exists to assist the backhaul program for fulfilling customers' empty lanes. A Contract Analyst will work with Legal to finalize contract terms and facilitate execution of the backhaul agreement.
•   It exists to provide monthly sales reporting for the organization. This entails tracking all new, add and renewal business. This further requires validating all such business by securing credit, an approved proforma, a signed contract and corresponding PTL Schedules.
•   It exists to provide various reports to the organization such as the Worker's Comp. and A/L G/L rate information.
•   It exists to provide enter and maintain contract information in SmartSheet. Providing training and reporting to Penske Solution team and Leadership.
•   It exists to facilitate maintenance of UIIA agreements and communicating/resolving invoice issues with Equipment Provider vendors.
•   It exists to support Logistics Leadership through analysis and reporting of Contract data, review of Contract language, and special projects. Major Responsibilities: - Write Logistics Contracts - provide a legally binding document, which reflects our business relationship with our customers. - Enter and maintain contract information in SmartSheet. Providing training and reporting to Penske Solution team and Leadership - Facilitate maintenance of UIIA agreements and communicating/resolving invoice issues with Equipment Provider vendors. - Provide Monthly Sales Reporting to Organization - to keep organization abreast of its sales performance in order to align its sales goals. - Other projects and tasks as assigned Qualifications: - 2 Year Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required - Paralegal Certificate and/or experience related to Legal Document Construction and Correspondence preferred - 3 years of business experience (transportation experience preferred) - 1-3 years of experience as an analyst - Excellent problem-solving skills - Intermediate MS Office experience - Word, Outlook, OneNote, Excel, Smartsheet - Ability to work independently - Communication and Presentation Skills - Active Listening Skills - Detail Oriented - Good Organizational Skills - Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job - Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
