Senior Configuration Management Specialist

The Configuration Management Specialist will conduct all aspects of configuration management support for PMW 770 Undersea Communications and Integration Job Requirements Responsibilities Serve as senior specialist point of contact and lead business authority for Program Office Configuration Management activities Design and document configuration and data management processes Assist leadership in ensuring that configuration management processes are adhered to by the engineering teams. Establish configuration identification, functional, allocated, and product baselines Assists with configuration control, status accounting, and physical configuration audits Maintains configuration management procedures Reviews technical documentation Evaluates proposed product design changes to determine the impact on overall system Conducts formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle to ensure quality control Implements directives and schedules necessary to ensure effective system management Responds to data calls Develops, updates, and maintains program of record documentation Proficient with MS Office applications Experience 3+ years of experience working with CMPro CM software tool Experience supporting and facilitating Configuration Control Boards Experience with reading, reviewing, and interpreting engineering and design drawings Very good written and verbal communication, along with effective time management skills Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelors' Degree from an accredited university 10+ years of experience working in a Configuration Management role This position requires an existing U.S. Government granted personnel security clearance at the Secret level U.S. Citizenship isrequired Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: McLaughlin Research Corporation is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
