Boeing's Ethics organization, part of Law and Global Compliance, is seeking a Senior Ethics and Compliance Specialist to support the Issue Review Team (IRT) within the Risk Reporting Organization.

This position requires: strong leadership and interpersonal skills, critical thinking, flexibility, attention to detail, analytical skills, and independent judgment. A successful candidate will have the ability to focus on issue spotting, risk mitigation and have a compliance mindset. This opportunity can be based in one of the following locations: Arlington, VA; Auburn, WA; Berkeley, MO; Everett, WA; Jacksonville, FL; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Oklahoma City, OK; Renton, WA; Ridley Park, PA; San Antonio, TX or Seal Beach, CA.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides guidance, quality review and execution of ethics case management and compliance activities
  • Regularly engages with reporting parties, managers, and internal partners across the enterprise, including but not limited to, Corporate Investigations, Law, Human Resources, and the like
  • Engages leadership to increase awareness and ensure mitigation of ethical and compliance risks in alignment with business objectives
  • Participates in special projects aimed at improving operations and mitigating risks
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in Ethics or Compliance
  • 3+ Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
  • 1+ years of experience in monitoring risks and compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with the Ethics IRT process
  • Experience working in engineering or manufacturing settings, with involvement in product and services or quality evaluations
  • Experience working in a human resources, ethics and compliance, equal employment (EEO), corporate investigations, or legal capacity
  • Significant understanding of Company organization, policies and procedures, as well as operating environment
  • Strong organizational skills and advanced multi-tasking; priorities setting and following a timeline
  • Self-starter and can work independently with minimal functional oversight
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills, including the ability to succinctly summarize matters for cross-functional audiences
  • Experience with handling sensitive situations and ensuring that confidentiality is strictly maintained
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:
