Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Developing, implementing, and administering compensation policies and programs.
2. Conducting salary surveys and studying labor markets to determine competitive wage rates.
3. Preparing detailed job descriptions and classification systems and defining job levels and families.
4. Collaborating with HR and management to understand departmental needs and develop compensation plans.
5. Analyzing compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plans.
6. Using HRIS systems for analysis and reporting.
7. Ensuring company compliance with federal and state laws regarding compensation.
8. Providing advice on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of state and federal laws related to compensation.
4. Proficiency in HRIS systems.
5. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings and interact with all levels of management.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong decision-making skills.
9. An understanding of market trends and the ability to apply this knowledge to make proactive recommendations.
