We are looking for a Sr Cloud Developer to join our Government Services team to support our client fully onsite in St Louis, Mo and Sprinfield, Va. Why should you join the Government Services team? World Wide Technology, LLC has an opportunity available for a Sr Cloud Developer as part of a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing a Enterprise "Self Service" Web tool which provides an approval workflow to provision Cloud development teams and users DevSecOps resources. Participate in Agile process and associated formalities; track work with project-management tools (e.g. Jira)
Deliver a full-stack web application to production
Identify and resolve operational issues in production applications
Participate in technical requirements-gathering process (i.e. meetings with customers)
Execute design and implementation of application features, independently, unassisted, with minimal oversight
Refactor legacy application code for improved reliability and maintainability
Mentor junior developers
Develop applications backed by a relational database Education and Experience Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
10+ years' experience
Work in a distributed team environment; collaboration via chat platforms (Slack etc)
Performing code reviews and giving feedback as part of change approval process
Authoring and updating project documentation, for team, customer, and user audiences
Producing, maintaining, and updating security accreditation documentation and related artifacts
Extensive Typescript or Javascript background
Angular frontend framework; UI/UX design
Microservice-based backend architecture; integrating with COTS/FOSS software REST APIs
Supporting a full-stack application in a PaaS environment
CI/CD pipeline implementation, ideally with GitLab
Creating and deploying containerized applications, ideally with Docker
Designing/implementing container orchestration with Kubernetes, ideally on OpenShift
Database experience with Postgres backend
Log aggregation/management tooling e.g. Kibana
Experience with AWS
Experience with Go programming language (to support migration away from legacy Go-based services) Required Certifications IAT level II Compliant certification (i.e. Security+ CE, SSCP etc) Clearance Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a CI poly
