The Position
As our new colleague, you will join our Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). CCoE is part of Global IT Operations (GITO) which owns, develops, drives and operates the Novo Nordisk IT infrastructure globally. You will be part of the advisory team, and help driving the cloud transformation across the entire value chain in Novo Nordisk from early research to manufacturing and sales. You will be helping the business areas deliver new cloud solutions from idea to operation, as part of our ambitious strategy. You will focus on one or more business areas in Novo Nordisk and help the area adapt, evolve, and innovate by utilizing cloud solutions.
You will, among other things, be involved in: Designing and implementing new innovative cloud solutions to support discovery, development and manufacturing of new pharmaceutical products. Global stakeholder management at a strategic, tactical, and operational level. Engaging with the business areas in a highly regulated industry to ensure that the strategic Novo Nordisk cloud platforms are being used in a secure and quality-oriented manner. Solving ad-hoc technical challenges together with end-users and dedicated teams throughout the organization. Documenting architecture and being able to communicate technical solutions to business stakeholders in an understandable manner, sometimes to a technical audience and other times to a business audience.

Individual contributor position, based in Plainsboro, NJ and reporting to the Manager, North America Operations - Infrastructure.
This role is a hybrid working model (3x/week on average) and Interacts internal business areas in North America incl. Commercial IT organization, and IT contacts located at Novo Nordisk North America Affiliate sites. Also interacts with Managed Services providers, representing C&CI and North America customers.
Partner with members of the Global IT Operations organization to ensure alignment with IT services provided in other regions.
Working member of Agile team in Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure.
Essential Functions
Participate in the global CCoE advisory function with special focus on internal Novo Nordisk business partners in North America and will act as single point of contactEncourages information sharing, team-based resolutions, cross-training, across IT to ensure collaboration, effectiveness, efficiency, and service excellenceWork to continuously improve the service request and delivery processes for C&CI delivered infrastructure servicesMaintain customer relationships and improve response and delivery times on C&CI delivered cloud servicesMaintain close awareness of service partner performance, and monitor to assess against service level agreements, contractual obligations, and business satisfactionDrive hot topics follow-up from weekly service partner standup meetings and corrective actions as neededActive contributing member of an Agile Product TeamAttend Novo Nordisk/service partner governance meetings as requiredRepresent SarbOx controls at internal GIA auditsCommunicate and coordinate information regarding maintenance windows, major outages, and other significant eventsAssist in resolving any escalated service issues and customer complaintsConduct feedback sessions with customers to identify areas for improvement with processes or operating modelAbility to understand customer requirements and introduce them into the Agile intake processCreate and present regular performance reports to managementRepresent C&CI infrastructure hosting services in project team meetingsIntegrate multi-sourced IT capabilities as seamless offerings to customersFosters working relationships with line of business, IT leaders, vendors and colleagues focused on effective and efficient IT Service ManagementEncourages information sharing, team-based resolutions, and process improvement to ensure service excellencePhysical Requirements
Some business travel may occur, approximately 7-10 days per year. International destinations can include Denmark and India.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology role requiredMinimum of 6 years in supporting IT services and external service providers required, preferably in the Pharmaceutical IndustryStrong working knowledge of creation and administration of Service CatalogsAbility to work in a complex environment with internal and external supported servicesWorking knowledge of public cloud (AWS, Azure) services & cost management principlesExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong working knowledge of industry best practices and service delivery standards requiredStrong documentation skills requiredStrong presentation skills requiredProven leadership ability and a team playerExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalDetail oriented, with ability to analyze trends and take appropriate action as neededExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsExperience with leading continuous improvement and feedback loop initiativesStrong working knowledge of applications including Office 365, SharePoint, Yammer, Azure DevOps, ServiceNowPreferred
