Civitas Health Services, Inc. is a comprehensive behavioral healthcare organization comprised of 6 programs serving children, adolescents, and adults. We are a Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services licensed and Joint Commission fully accredited behavioral healthcare and human services organization. We are seeking a Senior Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical oversight for the four services of our behavioral health organization. Must have an elevated level of emotional intelligence, proven administrative and clinical capabilities, an understanding of business operations, and the capacity to enforce federal, state, local, and organizational policies. The role of Senior Clinical Supervisor is a multifaceted position that coordinates operational leadership, clinical oversight, financial performance, and strategic growth. The Senior Clinical Supervisor role is responsible for leading organization initiatives and strategically linking them to the corporate vision and mission. Additional responsibilities include measuring and analyzing departmental performance and identifying areas for performance and quality improvement while maximizing the efficiency of work processes and service provision. Providing clinical leadership and supervision to undergraduate and graduate degree-level clinical staff for our community-based and substance-use services. Ensuring appropriate supervision and professional development of licensed staff to support a client-focused service model. Reviewing clinical documentation for compliance with federal, state, Medicaid, MCO, and other third-party documentation requirements. Performing all aspects of our Compliance Program, Quality Assessment, and Performance Improvement plans Utilizes experiential business acumen and working knowledge of developing, implementing, monitoring, and analyzing program budgets to make decisions based on financial performance. Reviewing and ensuring all clinical aspects and requirements of the revenue cycle are fulfilled. Pursuing growth and development opportunities for staff and organization. Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with vendors and colleagues. Qualifications: Master's degree in a human services field, healthcare management, or general business/public administration from an accredited college or university, required. Must be a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LPC, LSATP, LCSW, LMFT) with the Virginia Department of Health Professions A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in prior management positions with comparable responsibility as determined by the corporation. Financial management experience preferred. Must have knowledge and understanding of ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria. Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team.
