General Description The Senior Citizens' Program Head Site Manager for Colorado County supervises, plans, and organizes program operations at three centers as well as meal deliveries to homebound participants in Colorado County. This position monitors daily meal counts, health and safety regulations, donations, and quality and quantity control of meals. Requirements This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of full time work experience in social services or food related work. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Suite, and email is required. The person in this position must have an understanding of the needs of older people. The person must be highly organized, have good management skills, have excellent communication skills, and a desire to help others. This position requires the ability to encourage and utilize participants in all phases of running the site and meal program. Possession or ability to obtain First Aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) certification is required. The person in this position must have the ability to operate a 12 passenger van. A Texas Driver License with insurable motor vehicle record is required. A criminal background check is also required.
