Purpose of the job To manage R&D activities and day-to-day operations through supervising and management of a team, delivering the innovation/VE and quality programs in Woodcare category required by the South Asia & ASEAN BU Deco business . This Woodcare product category including retails and Professional segment for India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, VietNam, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand covering 32+ Product Lines and more than 300+ recipes. 2. Key responsibilities Describe the responsibilities and accountabilities of the job. Which tasks is the job holder responsible for? What results are to be achieved? Woodcare lead: Leading a team and ensuring execution and delivery of agreed plans, using multiple areas of expertise available. Ensuring preparation, testing, developing, analysing and researching elements (e.g. problems, questions, ideas) in own discipline. Attracting, leading, coaching, appraising and developing team members. Demonstrating and driving safety leadership. Driving engagement and managing talent development and succession planning Manages the execution of the multi-year plan in own team, safeguards planning and budget of activities in own team and provides input to the development of the year plan. Partner within R&D and other departments (like supply chain and/or marketing) to align activities with commercial plans. Works with global teams, and suppliers to develop a marketing leading innovation pipeline. 3. Level of autonomy What decisions may the job holder make independently without seeking approval from higher manager/supervisor? Manage operations of teams. OPEX expenditure. Job requirements List the essential educational qualifications, relevant experience and required skills. 10-12 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's Degree as minimum Excellent Excel, Powerpoint, Power BMI skills.
